Website Development

Project Overview
The NGO, Amarpushp Educational and Welfare Society, is dedicated to supporting underprivileged communities through education, healthcare, and social programs. Their existing website was outdated, difficult to navigate, and did not effectively communicate their mission or engage donors and volunteers. The goal of this project was to redesign the website to improve usability, increase engagement, and enhance online donations.
Problem Statement
The NGO’s website suffered from several issues, including:
Outdated design:
The old website had a cluttered layout, poor color contrast, and an unappealing visual hierarchy.
Poor user experience:
Navigation was confusing, making it difficult for visitors to find important information.
Limited mobile responsiveness:
The website was not optimized for mobile devices, leading to poor accessibility.
Low engagement and conversion rates:
Due to an unclear call-to-action (CTA) strategy, visitor interactions and donations were minimal.
Lack of storytelling:
The impact of the NGO’s work was not well communicated, leading to a disconnect with potential donors and volunteers.
Solution
To address these challenges, we implemented a comprehensive redesign strategy:
Modern UI/UX Design:
Developed a clean, visually appealing, and user-friendly interface with improved typography and accessibility features.
Enhanced Navigation:
Restructured the website’s menu to provide a seamless browsing experience with clear sections for programs, donations, and volunteering.
Mobile Optimization:
Designed a fully responsive website to ensure accessibility across all devices.
Effective Call-to-Action:
Introduced strategically placed CTAs for donations, volunteer sign-ups, and newsletter subscriptions.
SEO and Performance Enhancements:
Optimized site speed, structured content for search engines, and improved accessibility compliance.
Results
50% increase in website traffic within the first three months post-launch.
Improved user engagement with a 40% increase in volunteer sign-ups.
Better mobile accessibility, reducing bounce rates on mobile devices by 60%.
